For starters everything went well with Autoescape both in Italy and Crete. Online booking price 151 euros + insurance 201 euros in total for the 11 days. A mini price must be said, as every time via Autoescape! So for Goldcar in Minorca, on arrival, waiting at the airport for a shuttle. Then more than an hour of tail under the sun to wait for his turn to reach the ticket office ... And there will begin the attempt to scam. We booked on the Autoescape website with maxi insurance. So normally nothing to pay on the spot outside the child car seat that we had booked by phone with Goldcar Menorca three weeks before our departure. Well, here's what we get put in hand: "You have to pay 451 euros insurance, the one taken at Autoescape does not cover everything.You must also pay a full tank of gas oil before taking the car, and additional fees Because the car is a diesel - Diesiel that we would have asked for when booking ". Here also completely wrong. The tone is also very, very bad health ... Finally after almost half an hour of palaver we leave a deposit of 1500 euros charged to the account and pay the 151 euros (Gaz oil, diesel and car seat) . And we do not take the extra insurance. No inventory of the car, it is up to the customer to do it ... So given the atmosphere, photos and we notice impacts on the car. So we run after a person from the company who comes to see, and after many requests indicates the impact on the diagram of the car by simply indicating his name ... In other words we do not leave very confident, and all holiday this car problem is going to ruin our stay. Especially as searching on the internet reviews and comment on Goldcar are catastrophic. On the third day of our stay, we reach Autoescape's customer service, who is well aware of my claim, but informs me that they have a lot of work late and will not have time to process my request by the end of the stay .... Finally the return of the vehicle, well before the time and a day before our departure, vehicle that we completely cleaned inside, we also took pictures a once arrived at Goldcar, the person has certified that everything was ok, as well for the condition of the vehicle, the full of gas oil, as the child seat. She informs us that we will receive an email within one hour telling us that everything is ok and that there will be nothing retained. The full of gas oil will be refunded within 24 hours and the deposit of 1500 euros in 1 week! Today after 3 days we still have nothing ....

I took the option or insurance covered everything, which allowed me to refuse any extra charges that was no problem! On arrival I was even offered to be upgraded. The only thing is that we must be careful to go around for the inventory at the start because it is not spontaneously proposed but otherwise all went very well and upon arrival and return I highly recommend
