The pick up of my car was scheduled for 10 a.m. on Saturday July 20. I was on time, but the room was full of people waiting, as me, for their cars. I had to take a number and waited to be called. The wait exceeded 90 minutes and I started to get anxious because I had scheduled a meeting in Porto that I could not achieve. Even after I was assigned the car, there was not enough personnel to check the car with me and give me the keys. This was a very bad experience. I dropped the car to a different location. The service there was very quick - no waiting at all.

In itself, everything was OK, but after 5 days, the 1600 € on the credit card is still not released. That is totally unacceptable.

I booked via autoescape a Fiat Tipo station wagon or equivalent, to be certain to have room for the luggage of the family (we are 5) ... and on arrival at Hertz, I discovered that I would have rented a compact vehicle, so I have an Opel Astra ... After discussion with the local team Hertz, a negotiation of the price, we manage to pay in fact 490 € instead of 260 € to leave with a Dacia Duster. I have booked a break vehicle on the autoescape platform, I'm pretty sure because we were traveling to two families, and we made the same choice ... on arrival, I'm disappointed with the platform of reservation, it is not clear, and I feel like I was booked in relation to a price, I was doubled on arrival ... I do not think ironing via autoescape, chat with Hertz from the beginning to finish at this price ....
