Was a little disappointed when got to Budget and had to Uber to downtown location since i thought i was renting from airport. Easy enough and will probably do the same next year!

It was easy and simple to pick up and drop off. My flight was a couple hours delayed so I was worried that my reservation would be cancelled but it wasn't. They helped me straight away and best thing was they let me choose the car I wanted to drive. Super cool!

Everything was fine except for the return. We needed to drop off the car before AVR opened. We called AVR the night before to confirm and AVR corporate told us, "no problem - you can drop the keys at the Ramada front desk and take the Ramada shuttle back to airport. They have an agreement with Ramada." Perfect - right? EXCEPT that the nasty Ramada guy at the counter was happy to take the keys for AVR HOWEVER said we cannot take the Ramada shuttle back. What??!! Nearly missed our flight. Had to scramble to get a last minute ride back. Will be contacting AVR to discuss....one if them is lying.

The location of AVR is inside of a sad looking Ramada Hotel about 4 miles away from the airport. I had to call in order to get them to come to pick me up from the airport with their shuttle but they quickly arrived. The first attendant I worked with was exceptional and gave me a brand new AWD Dodge Durango with 5k miles. It was exactly what I pre-ordered and the price point was almost $200 less than in-terminal rentals through other providers. The drop-off wasn't as friendly but overall I can't complain. They took me back to the airport quickly and I had no issues with billing or transport. The only other issue was the shuttle person on the way back didn't help with luggage and we tore our board bag on an exposed bolt in the back of their van that they warned us of only after our bag got stuck on it when trying to pull it out of the van. If you don't care about the distance from the airport or the rundown facilities in which the place was located, I'd say overall it was a decent experience. Given the price point and quality of the vehicle, I'm glad I used them as they had exactly what I needed for my snowboarding trip.
