I picked up the car on a Friday morning. The customer service rep who assisted me did not smile AT ALL and seemed bothered by my presence. She processed my payment information then walked me out to the car. The car was covered in the front with bugs. There was dirt and a sticky substance on the hood and sides of the car. The inside was clean but the outside was dirty. She asked me to assess the car and I pointed out the knicks and scuffs. She repeated three times, That is already on the condition report. Then why did she tell me to walk around the car to check the condition. When I asked her why the car was so dirty, she said that it is clean. I said no it's not. Look at the matted bugs all over the front and the sticky substances and dirt. She told me that I could take it to a car wash and Hertz would pay for it. I was leaving for out of town and did not have time to do the work that they should already have done. For the amount I paid for that car for the weekend, the least that should have been done was to have it clean. I will never rent a car from Hertz AGAIN!!

I picked up my rental and I was early. I was able to be helped within minutes of getting there. We then called to drop off the car early and were helped quickly with that. It was an all around good experience.
