I was told that they did not have a car for me and said it was my fault because I had made the reservation that morning. Instead they told me my only option was to rent a van which doubled the original rate I was quoted on carrentals.com. I will never rent Hertz again.

I made reservation for my Father that cam from nort and went to Herz on Atlantic Blvd Jax FL only to be told that they don’t have car that I reserved. But they did ofer me car but I would have to pay $25 extra per day. I had same experience with this place few months ago when I bucked reservation through my insurance and they didn’t have car that they promised me so they offered me car two size smaller. I think the car rentals should make sure that this don’t happen again. I went to enterprise and got the car.

Spent hours on chat and phone - bad service. They sell their insurance without an option to cancel. If you extend your rental, they ask you to come to their offices - zero service on phone. Very disappointed.
