Rental cars in Richmond from $58

The pick up was at colonial heights va and when I got there they didn’t have a car for me then the manager told me to not be upset cause there is nothing she can do about it and told me to go to another rental company to get another car who does that. She was very rude so then I got to the one on hull st and they were great they had a car for me very helpful and professional and very kind people over there but the colonial heights location they need help and there needs to be something done with them over there

Upon arrival, the staff were immediately friendly and helpful. Through no fault of their own, they had run out of vehicles and could not contact me - carrentals.com apparently did not provide enough contact information. The low inventory of vehicles was due to recovering from the recent hurricane, but they had more cars at another location. Mike was kind enough to drive me to Midlothian and ensured that Danielle from the other Hertz location took care of me. I received a discount for my troubles, but if I had been more pressed for time, I would not have gone through all this effort. Since this all could have been avoided with one phone call to inform me of no vehicles, next time I will order directly from Hertz.com, not carrentals.com.
