The specified rental station did not exist at the specified location. Only after the call, we and ten other customers waiting there were gradually picked up by a car and taken to the right rental station. At this you could not book a car that is closed according to Europcar ... After the signature, the customers were again taken by car to the car park of the rental car. This procedure took just under an hour. Time that was missing for the day. I have not experienced anything like this before.

An hour in line — only one employee in the shop, in Fort-de-France. No choice of vehicle at all. Driven to the lot, 1.5 miles away, pointed at a Renault, and given the key. Told to bring the car back there, and call for them to pick us up — but they knew we didn’t have a cell phone, and had no way to call. We returned the car 7 hours before the end of the rental period, but the office was closed — at 3pm, and had no key drop-off. We tried again last evening, again at 9:30 and 10:30 this morning (Friday) — still locked up tight. Finally slid the electronic key through a gap between the door and frame into the office. We were supposed to have a manual Twingo (or Mini equivalent), but were stuck with a Renault Captur, a comparatively huge car, which is not good on Martinique. And on top of that, stuck with an automatic transmission, which I definitely did not want. Never again, folks.
