Our Car was actually a mini van and a free upgrade because of seat stains in other vehicle... Nice clean vehicle with low mileage and everything went smooth!!! Will definitely use them again on my next visit to Burlington

The pick up was very easy and the guy at the reception was very professional. But when I went to pick up the car from the parking garage, I found out that the vehicle is dirty outside. The interior was also dirty, had some sticky things on 2 seats that I had to clean with wet wipes. According to them the vehicle had full fuel but I saw it was bit lesser than full. But obviously I had to fill up the tank before returning the rental. Expected better from Enterprise.

I elected to get curbside pick-up.. this took far too long- nearly 20 min! But the rest of my experience with the rental went smoothly so overall good experience. Brand new truck, so it was great.

I have usually used Enterprise. I asked for asked for a medium sized car. When I went to pick up my car I was told I would have to wait until one was cleaned but I could have a van.I asked if the van was good in snow. The agent said it was so I agreed to take it. The roads were good so I had no problem. Into my trip when the roads got dicey I realized a van is not that good on snowy roads. I then saw that I did not have snow tires. Basically all weather tires =summer tires. Fortunately the roads weren't too bad during my 6 day stay. The van had Florida plates. I am sure the van was not winterized, especially in the tire situation. As a customer I just assumed any car rented in Northern Vermont would have snow tires. I will continue to rent with Enterprise and just assume this mistake slipped through the cracks. Jay Morelli \

I got a wonderful rate, and I was very satisfied with the car. It was clean, and it performed great over the 1 week +. I ran into a personal medical issue with my son who is a 100% disabled Veteran. I had to keep the car for one more day. The Manager and staff were wonderful and professional in the response, and it was handled totally to my satisfaction. When I did turn the car in on July 31, I had to get a cab to airport. No one answered when I called local cab companies. The Manager took it upon himself to help me to call a local service (Quik - Cab) (no shuttle service from Hertz at that location), and I was most appreciative. Thank you!

I reserved an SUV online, but upon arrival at the rental agency, was told that they had none available for several days. What is the point of a reservation? The folks working there did their best to make it up to me, but it ended up being inconvenient and uncomfortable for my family during my trip.

Here are our suggestions on how to get behind the wheel of a rental car with extra cash in your pocket:
If all you need is four wheels and an engine, select an economy car. They're the most popular category of rental vehicle in Vermont. Besides all the standard features, they come with benefits like fabulous fuel economy and great savings on rental fees. Pick up a set of keys and cruise around Burlington and Rutland without difficulty.
Forests and rolling hills? Checking out the natural treasures that Vermont has to offer will be easy with your reliable rental car. If outdoor excursions and scenic road trips are on the agenda, consider a full-size car or an SUV. They offer plenty of power and ample space for your bags.
There's loads of choice when it comes to rental cars in Vermont. From swish SUVs with loads of space for luggage to zippy compacts that make parking a cinch, you'll find it all here. Deciding on your perfect match of course depends on your budget and what you intend to do. Some road trips are just begging you to splurge on your dream ride, whereas others don't need more than a bargain, no-frills type model. Which car will you be sliding behind the wheel of this trip?
