The woman who helped us at the customer service counter did not listen to my request to have a larger vehicle and initially gave us a small Mazda CRX. After taking the car out, I called back in and spoke to a different and more helpful woman who said that I could exchange the car for a Buick SUV of comparable price, which made me feel more comfortable and safe. The initial woman I worked with was dismissive of my request to have a larger car, did not provide me with all of my options, and insisted that the Mazda CRX was the same size as the Buick, which is was not since the Buick was higher above ground than the Mazda CRX.

I was there to pick up the car. They did the paperwork and did not have a car for pickup. The lady told me she'll arrange something and I had to wait. After 15 minutes of wait a car showed up which had scratches really basic and no backup camera. Told cant drive that and wanted to be upgraded or downgraded, they said they are out of cars and after one month they sent me a big bill and 7 times hold on my charge. Will never book Hertz

I had a very bad experience while dropping my car at Newark, California location, I was charged me double for insurance and the service rep at the counter was extremely rude (Mariam). Please ensure trining for your staff
