Window washer fluid did not work and started snowing and freezing the wipers. I could not see and called the oakland airport where i kept getting routed to the national budget customer service. When i did they told me only option was grt a new vehicle or emergency roadside. Both ended up being out of the question as new vehicle was 300-400 moles away from where we were and they denied me roadside as they said it was not emergency...how can impaired vison on a road with semi trucks not be an emegency while it is freezing and snowing with icy conditions? So they then suggested to go to the nearest car shop and pay out of pocket. I would have if it wasnt like 300 miles away! i had to wait out anf stop frequently at near by gas stations to clean windshield which made me a day late for return!!! Nothing to help was done by budget airport in oakland.

I just received a call 2 weeks after dropping off the rental stating that the car had not been returned and was 14 days late!!

Customer service was awesome! Unfortunately due to the COVID-19 panic there were only two people at the counter. Once I got the rental it hadn't been properly cleaned, there was a strong perfume residue left on the seat belt. The scent was so strong it caused me a migraine the entire ride to my destination. Luckily I had some new paper to cover the belt with to add some temporary relief on my ride back.
