The support was fast .. Because on the spot no condition report is made when the vehicle is recovered. We had to go get someone and insist that he note the condition report: 1) that the gas tank was not full; 2) that the key was not working remotely and 3) that one of the doors was broken. The person told us that the fuel level indicator would come back up after driving a few kilometers (!) When the vehicle returned, the staff only checked the fuel level.

1 / I ticked all the boxes to find a renter "IN THE AIRPORT", unlike those requiring a shuttle, and I opted for a more expensive fare. Arrived in Naples, Hertz is with the other renters not in the airport (only SIXT is in the airport) but within reach of shuttle. 2 / At the assumption of responsibility and return of the vehicle, I am asked to sign here and there, without telling me why I sign, and when I question, I am answered in Italian very dryly (I do not speak Italian), or presents documents in Italian and incomprehensible. 3 / We try to make me pay more than what is agreed with AutoEscape, on many occasions and in Italian. Since this is not my first time, I managed to avoid several pitfalls, such as paying airport taxes on restitution (last year). 4 / In return we had to wait for the shuttle more than 15 minutes.

Little problem with the care because I had specified to my order at autoescape that I would return the vehicle not at the airport and the voucher took this into account but at the central station of Naples. Apparently the info does not go to Herz because I was asked for a drop surcharge This being the staff Herz was attentive, helpful but intractable and I had to accept this supplement (modest) which seemed to me unjustified to recover the car. The deal is between the autoescape customer service but the car was compliant and in very good condition
