I rent it my car 2 months ahead then do not have problems... well I was on my way to pick up, I received a call telling me that the car is not ready so please wait for a call for pick up.. that was at 8:30 AM on Nov 20.... was back and forward during the whole morning finally they tell me go to Medley office they have a car there for you I was suppose to pick up on Miami Beach place..... That information finally came after 1 pm.... I went the lady so friendly very kind she gave me the car.......... I review and I open de side door and see that something were wrong , the guy said not is ok just need to close firmly . well was ok... I leave the place... the car was 1/4 tank in gas.. I fulfilled. after I finish to load the car put all my 4 kids and my elderly mother 90 years old on the car... ready to leave 12 hours latter that I planed... the side door DO NOT CLOSE... we try and try and nothing. I called road services... they assist me and tell me to go to the airport that the MANAGER will assist me. I went to the airport.... they took the van... and gave me a other one... the paper said that the car has the tank FULL and wasn't i was 3/4 almost... I ask for the manager... have to argue he doesn't understand .. was a nightmare... I left the Rental Car Center at 12:15 am on 11/21/2018... so that mean I lost one day..... I was driving to NYC and when I got there the car start showing me Change Oil... and that prom stress me the whole trip... so please tell that people of Budget to keep more attention on their vehicles.

So unprofessional! I had a minivan reserved for 10am. When I arrived at the office it was closed, with a sign in the window saying: Return at 7:30pm!!! I had to make several phone calls with customer service to find another minivan in a different location. On top of that, I was not billed the original rental amount ($53) but charged a significantly higher one ($82). I needed the minivan to deliver some large size paintings for a client in Ft Lauderdale. It was an overall embarrassing experience and damaging for my reputation because I was 2 hours late with the delivery!

i could not rent a van w/o a credit card, though i was bale to do so previously, very disappointed.

We received excellent customer service from the agent at the pick up location. Our car category was not available so got upgraded to a Jeep Compass, which was a great car to have during our weeklong vacation. My only small point is that the car smelled a bit dirty and smoky.

it took forever to get through a very long line at the budget rental pickup in Fort Lauderdale.It could have been much faster if there were more people working at the counters to help people get their cars. Some people even left the line to go to a different rental place even though they had a reservation with budget. Same thing happened to us when we rented thru budget in Hawaii in January. We waited in line in the hot sun for over an hour even though there could have been more workers helping customers . Doesn't seem like budget values their customers time very much!

I drove 30 miles to them just because of the substantial savings over other car rental places. The 12 passenger van I rented was almost brand new with less then 2000 miles. I was at Budget for only 15 minutes and drove away with the perfect van for my family trip to Georgia from Miami. I averaged 19 miles to the gallon with the van fully loaded.
