I was left at the airport with no current number to call for pick up. I waited 45 minutes for the easy convenient van to pick me up. They were a no show.I had to book a walk in rental with another company. Expensive!! Thanks for nothing FOX. Never again

One rude lady at counter took over 1 hour to get the car,had to wait past midnight Had to wait over 45 minutes for pickup at the Airport.

From the very first discussion when picking up the car we encountered a series of attempted upsells which included misinformation, pressure tactics and outright LIES!!! We were given the wrong size car. We were told not to worry about bringing it back without a full tank of gas because they have such low fuel rates ($2.75/gal) whereas the going local rate was around $2.35/gal. We brought it back 3/4 full and were charged $20 for the insult!!! We were encouraged to buy a Toll Pass for $80 for the week which we declined. We ended up on a Toll Road in Tampa and without a pass there is no method to pay tolls on the road. We received an as yet unpaid invoice for $32.86 for tolls... $2.86 for actual tolls and $30 for maintenance fees!!!! C rooks should not even still be in business with these high-handed tactics bordering on crookedness!!!!

Other than the horrible experience with a Norman with Fox at car extensions everything else was fine the price are fair and the selection of car is as well. Just prey you dnt get Norman on the line he would tell you that ur a waste of time and hang up on ur face..

My experience with this provider was less than perfect. I rented a vehicle online and did not realize at the time return time was 3 am and not 3 pm as I would have desired. I attempted to change the return time at the check-in counter when I went to pick up the car but wasn?t allowed. The attendant at the counter was pretty persistent that this could not be done because the vehicle was reserved online. I was then told that I could bring the car back at any time but I would be charged a $25.00 late fee. I opt to bring the car back at 3 am for a 4 pm flight instead of paying any type of late fees. I decided to hangout out at the airport to avoid any additional fees. At 2:50 am I was driving around the rental car return lot attempting to find a way so I could return the car. I checked at every single entrance and exit point for all rental car agencies and found them all blocked by a vehicle parked across the entrance/ exits. Eventually, I made contact with a security guard from Hertz car rental who was attempted to help me, but there was nothing the guard could do. I eventually parked on the street and walked into the building an attempt to locate a Fox representative and found the building empty. No one was available at any of the car rental agencies. At the Fox counter there was a sign stating due to COVID-19, the agency operating hours are 9 am ? 9 pm. For after-hours support, a 1 800 number was provided. I called the number and received a prerecorded message stating no one would be available until 5 am. I was then given a list of online option which would not have solved the problem of me sitting outside the gate with a vehicle at 3 am. I left and came back at 9 am. Had my flight been sooner than 9 am I do not know what I would have done. At 9 am I returned and encounter an attendant by the name of ?Mike? who was outstanding. Mike was receiving returning vehicles. I explained the situation to him and he quickly and expertly set things to right. He explained to me after I picked my car, Fox changed its hours of operation from 9 am to 9 pm. Every customer was supposed to have been called and advised of the change but some of us slipped through the cracks. Mike apologized for the inconvenience, received the vehicle, and ensured I would not be charged a late fee. On top of this, I was also given a discount on the overall rental. Because of this and the overall professionalism of the attendant, Mike is the reason Fox rental agency is receiving the rating they are getting from me. Being in the trenches and the first person frustrated customers encounter, I think Mike represented himself and his company well. He deserves the credit for any success Fox receives on that day.

Had to return the car 10 days earlier because of covid -19 to return to Canada . Was given a small discount but really should have been at least half price !

I was not able to pick-up my car due to the corona virus. I emailed your company explaining the issue. I never got a response back. I can understand losing my car rental money if there was an issue not as big as shutting down the US. I did not even get a voucher for next time. A lot of companies are giving back, it would be nice to see your company due the right thing in a time of need.

The vehicle we got was fantastic and met all of our needs. We were also able to extend our rental as our flight was cancelled and rescheduled for the next day. The customer service at pick up and drop off were excellent. The only issue was that when picking up our rental we had to wait in line for 1 hour and 45 minutes! Seemed like there were a lot of people trying to get their rentals on the spot instead of already having done so online as we did. We would recommend splitting up the counters to make it a quicker experience for those who completed their rentals one vs. in person at the rental facility. Thank you for your support!

The pickup and drop off was very delayed. Dropped off the vehicle an hour before my allotted time but had to wait 30 mins to get picked up while going to the airport terminal. I was not the only person waiting for the shuttle. I was not comfortable with the tire tread depth but was rushing to a funeral in another city and could not afford any more lost time.

Pick up in Orlando was easy. Courteous driver and service desk. Return to unfamiliar Tampa airport was easy . Alfredo made drop off extremely easy and pleasant. Directed us to where our next destination would be

I never picked up my car how dare you send me a survey on customer service. I’ve been trying since March 1st to contact your company to cancel my reservation. After numerous calls and emails o finally receive an email back saying I had to prove that my flight was cancelled. As if a pandemic is not enough proof and that fact that I am from NJ and NY! I sent my proof of my cancelled flight where my airline was understanding enough to give me a voucher and yet I never receive not even an email from your company. It’s shocking that you expect a survey for your terrible customer service!

The rate quoted was far from what we paid at the airport. They always add in so many additional fees that you actually think you are getting a deal. for a week it was over $300 with the sunpass for tolls. Don't get the extra insurance as that would set you back another $30 per day. Overall, not impressed.

when ordering the car online it cost $264. at the Miami f ox office we waited over 30 minutes to get waited on. The rep kept adding things like rental liability insurance, sunpass for 10 days and personal accident /personal property coverage. We said no to all of the extras and he insisted we needed all of it. Plus $2.47 a gallon for gas. Gas was only $2.19. PLus the trunk lid had a Greasey substance that leaked on our luggage and stained it. Then due to the corona virus we chose to return the car on Sunday rather then tuesday. And the guy who was in the booth said we would be charged $20 a day for an early return. I sure hope that will waved . We had to fly home early. Please review our rental you can see we barely used the sunpass. I hope some adjustments will be made. We feel like we were taken advantage of.
