met my expectations. the cars were parked at a distance . have not received my final paperwork within 5 days of completion

Outrageous experience with Sixt Copenhagen and would caution anyone renting with them to microscopically review and note down every single minor stain on the car before driving it out from the parking lot. As for me, I picked up the car and noted a scratch and small dent on the rear part. I did not observe any other obvious scratches or dents. I brought it to Sixts attention and drove off. The car was driven only on the highway to two destinations in Sweden. It was parked at our house and at our in-laws house. It was never driven into the city centres or parked in any compromising and tight spaces. Five day later I returned the car in the wee hours at the airport, before Sixt opened, and dropped the key in the mailbox.
Two days after the car return, I received an email from Sixt. They had observed a dent in the rear and scratches on all sides of the car. They requested a damage report to be filled out for insurance purposes. They attached photos of the damages which effectively was some dark stain on one hubcap. The rest of the six scratches were not observable on the photos given the car came in black metalic. They even claimed that I had caused the existing dent in the back of the car which had been noted on the rental agreement at the time of the pick-up. As I know where the car was throughout my rental and without even the slightest damage or even risk of one, it beame clear to me it is a scam business model. Effectively what Sixt Copenhagen does, is to rent out cars with small dents and normal wear stains, then they claim damage reimbursement, but they don't fix the cars. They rent it out again with the same dents and stains. And file for additional insurance coverage from the preceding customers. Very ugly and unethical.
We have now unreservedly rejected the claims. But be very careful if you rent from Sixt - Copenhagen.
