The counter rep (DJ?) was very courteous and helpful, gave us good instructions on getting to our convertible quickly and easily. When we got to the car, however, we found that the seats were dirty and stained. We just brushed them off, as we were in a hurry to get to our condo. We should’ve realize something was wrong when we noticed a couple of small ants crawling on the console as we drove from the airport. The next day, there was a colony of those small ants scurrying around in the corner of the backseat. There was clearly some food or something left in that area. There was some insecticide spray at our condo, and we literally had to spray the backseat a couple of times to address the situation. To make matters worse, every time we tried to drop the top in the first few days, we got an error message, saying a cargo flap had to be extended. We didn’t find anything in the owners manual on that, so we went online and eventually figured it out. By then, though, we had missed the best two days of weather, and hurricane Zeta started plowing through the area. It would have been nice to have gotten some quick instruction on that feature of the convertible.

Had our vehicle and out of the airport in less than 10 minutes. No line or waiting Quickest we ever picked up a vehicle

We picked up the car with no issues. However, when we went out to the car we found it to be filthy inside. We ended up using 8 Disinfectant wipes we had with us to clean the steering wheel, doors, gear shift etc before we could even feel safe sitting in the car!! The car reeked of cigarette smoke also. So much for disinfecting and cleaning the car in the pandemic times!!! It was disgusting! then we couldn't even see out of the front window at night there was so much smoke residue on the windshield. Will never rent from Alamo again!!
