Check in was very confusing and not user friendly for people from other countries.

Sixt in other countries are better than Sixt in Ireland to deal with

Actually, everything was fine until we were at the delivery of the car. We assumed that we had booked a car with the full "carefree" insurance package. We also assumed that the surcharge for the insurance package was already included in the total price. On the ground in Ireland we unfortunately had to realize that this was just not the case and we can get the full insurance package only for a considerable extra charge. In the aftermath, it was probably our fault, the incorrect booking not to have recognized. However, the provider must be aware that the portal can be made more user-friendly in order to avoid possible misunderstandings in advance.
