Thought I was at a reputable company. Did me a favor by getting the rental earlier than reserved. Upon payment in advance i was told there would be a 500.00 deposit. I gave the lady my credit card. She proceeded to swipe and said sir your car is declined. I asked to swipe again please she said its not working but tried again. Pushed some buttons and said declined. Mind you I had used the card for my previous rental no problem. Said can you leave a cash deposit. I said really didn't want to but she said that's the only way I can give you the car. Figured 1 day rental ok if I get my deposit back in cash. She assured me it would be returned. But added make sure you return the car at the hour you got the car not the reservation time. Of course and thanked her for allowing me to modify our agreement but please give me a receipt for the cash. Oh boy. Came back the next day 1 hour earlier than required. Lady was not there. I asked a guy if he could get my deposit. He said where's the car at. I said out front he said ok be right back. Upon returning he said you were smoking in the car. I told him that I had not as i don't smoke my wife is asthmatic. He said your lying there's tobacco and marijuana on the drivers seat. I told him he has the wrong car. He said no it was the car I brought back. I said that was incorrect. He says I personally clean all these cars so I know it wasn't there before you rented. When I again told him i don't smoke he said well your going to have to pay a cleaning fee of 200.00 I couldn't believe it. I pleaded with the man to not take my money for something I was not guilty of. He laughed at me. When I asked for a receipt for the cleaning fee he laughed again and handed me 300.00 and told me to leave. No receipt no nothing. I apologize for such a long review I just wanted to make sure. I covered what had happened so if anyone else rents from that Venice California location they can know what to expect if your from out of the area. If my wife wasn't waiting for me at the airport to return home I would have called the police because I literally got robbed. Please take pictures and don't hand over the keys without going with whoever checks in the car. Record every thing to avoid experiencing the same fate. Thank you for your time

The price was good, but they charged me twice for the insurance and they never send me the money back. In my booking page I printed was clear I had pay insurance, but the person there charged me again, The her supervisor showed up, and he said he will fix the issue, and didn't. Read very well the agreement before you pay!

Limited car selection, friendly service, but a bit slow. You will need a copy of you insurance policy if you wish to use your own insurance.
