My wife and I arrived to pickup the car and there was no one at the counter. We waited about 20 minutes and still nobody. I called corporate who told me they think the counter closed and asked if I would be willing to go to another airport to pickup a car there....um definitely not an option. After being on hold with corporate for about 6 or 7 minutes a lady came to the desk and told us she couldn't help us because she only worked outside. A few minutes later another lady finally showed up to get us our car. We got an F150 which was nice for the price. 3 stars for the car and price. Minus 2 stars for the inconvenience

Pick up and drop off was easy and the personnel was nice. The only problem I had with Thrifty is the extra charges. When we initially booked the car our total was $252 for 5 days. I thought that was a great price. Closer to the travel date our flights were cancelled due to circumstances surrounding COVID-19. When I called go change our rental (only change pick-up to 7 hours later than intended, kept the same date) I was informed that rates would change and I would now be charged a surcharge of $27 per day due to them just now seeing that the driver would be 23. It made the total cost of the rental $411; almost double what was originally booked. Little upset that my trip was costing more than intended when booking due to circumstances out of my control and a mistake on their part.

It took 50 minutes to get my car. Most of that spent sitting on the curb by myself while other customers received cars immediately. The car they tried to rent me wasn’t cleaned or filled with gas. The staff was not helpful and one female attendant in particular raised her voice at me and tried to say I was lying about how long I had been waiting. She was extremely rude and disrespectful.
