Picking up the car was easy. We put a lot of miles on that vehicle for one low flat rate! On the last day we realized we were going to need the car one more day so we called the number on the contract and were able to extend our Rental for another day really easily and for hardly any extra cost! It was a very good experience :)

We reserved on line for one location for end of day to be returned end of day on Saturday. We chose this specific location because it said they closed at 5:30 pm on Saturday.When we showed up they had no vehicles and said they were not open Saturday or Sunday. They sent us to a different location that has a car for us when we arrived they told us no locations outside airports were open on the weekend and an after hours drop off would not be processed until Monday. He then looked up the cost of us keeping the car until Monday which would have been $545.00 vs the $65 we reserved online for. So we asked if we could return at an airport location about an hour away. The price then still fluxuated for different location drop off and our total was $114 double what we reserved for. So the price you reserve online for hertz will very possibly not be the price you pay if they even have a car for you.

The interior windows very filmy making it difficult to see when the sun was that direction. I had to stop and let the transmission cool going over the mountain. A warning light came on to pull over. I dropped the car off after closing. I picked it up st 4:30 and dropped it off at 5:30. Website said it could be dropped off after hours. It did not say you would be charged until opening hours the next day!! I’ll be charged an extra day!!! No more Hertz for me.
