We rented a car from Tampa airport to drive to Orlando airport to catch a flight, they sold us an upgrade for an SUV with a bad tire and we got a flat within the hour. We called for roadside assistance and was told the wait would be over an hour so we were left with no choice but to change the tire ourselves (that's when we noticed the tire was not the original, different brand and in very poor shape) and we had to backtrack and rush back to the Tampa airport to get a replacement. Customer service at the Preferred counter was by far the worst we have ever encountered - zero compassion for what we went through, no apology and not even a greeting. We asked if there would be a charge for our rental since we were given a bad car and she said no charge - come to find out we were charged and when we called, corporate said we had to talk to local office and local office will not answer their phones and calls kept getting routed back to corporate. So there's customer service for ya! Guess this is Budget's way of saying Merry Christmas, sucker!

The seats in this RAV4 were so stained it should not have been allowed to be rented. Did not want to do additional paperwork so accepted it.
