I had a scheduled 1pm pickup at Hertz in St. Petersburg Beach, FL. I arrived a few minutes before 1pm to find office closed and nobody in sight. I spent 3 hours on the phone with Hertz before finally talking to someone who could/would help me. I took LYFT to the airport [$25] and was able to get a car there [at a separate additional charge]. NOTE: The Hertz supervisor and staff at the Clearwater/St. Petersburg airport were great once I got there. I am now dealing with both Hertz and Carrentals to get refunded the cost of my phantom rental. Neither party has been much help, so I am disputing the charge through VISA.
P.S. I wouldn't recommend Carrentals.com to a friend either after this, there was NO WAY for me to contact them.

While arriving at the set time and date for my RESERVED car, it was not available. It just wasn't there. We were asked to wait. We did, obviously not there, but taking care of other matters, and returned 6 hours later. It never arrived.
What's the point of making reservations when they are not respected?

Will rent again. Price was fair and on star was free to use !
