I was VERY wary of my experience with this company based on the Google reviews for the Asheville location and it went more smoothly than I had anticipated. I had the car within a few minutes, and there was a mix up in the drop off based on some changes to the rental but it was worked out and I don't believe I was charged any extra fees for it. The only thing is, unless you want to be charged an additional $16 a day, you have to pay with a credit card instead of a debit card. Also, call you insurance company and find out if rentals are covered before you pay for the extra insurance.

I had reservations for 3 weeks for a car rental from Thrifty. There was no one at the airport counter at 5pm on a Friday so Hertz took care of Thrifty car rentals. When I finally got my key, I had to walk around the lower level of the garage looking for my car. I wasnt given the chance to check for dings or scratches. Returning the car wasnt much better. No one was at either the Hertz or Thrifty counters so I had to walk back inside the airport to return my key. Only positive experience was the young man working the Hertz counter at Asheville Regional. He was considerate and helpful. I wish I could remember his name. He deserves a raise.

Too long to pick up vehicle. Waited 50 minutes. Was still required to fill out all my information, even though I had a reservation
