After waiting at an empty desk for 5 minutes, an employee approached, greeted me, told me to take seat and disappeared. After 15 minutes I debated walking to one of the other “big name” car rentals and trying my luck, but decided to wait since I had a reservation. They DID NOT have the size car I reserved and offered me a free upgrade. After three sets of keys and paperwork by hand, I was finally on my way...NEVER AGAIN. On a positive note, Drop off went flawless.

Because of the extreme cold in the area I asked about the air in the tires. No help. I got about 20 miles away from the airport and the check tires lighted on the dashboard and would not allow any other info until I stopped to get air (which was NOT easy). Needed air. The car did NOT have power windows and did NOT have power locks - a great problem for us. I feel the ad for the level of car listed these features - made Payless totally too expensive and not competitive with other offers.
