My experience was overshadowed because I needed to extend my reservation by one day Hertz tried to charge me three times the daily rate I was already paying. I am a gold card member with them and have never been treated so rudely before. I returned the car to a lot that was filled (no where to park the car). I went to a different car rental and got a similar rate to what I had originally with Hertz. It was all a big hassle.

The gentleman at the desk was multitasking all morning and afternoon, basically all weekend under combative pressure and demands of customers and orders. Customers were awaiting lines and other agencies were sold out and also overbooked. Somehow the representative was amazing and produced a vehicle close to what was reserved. Made it happen, a result rather than none. He was also aware of local basketball legends. Very personable, never cracked under pressure and remained so very helpful and calm throughout the experience including the return and drop off.
