Car was different than booked. Extra insurance booked hasn’t been accepted

This was the worst rental I have experienced. The check in process took extraordinary long and reps were in no hurry to take care of you. Drop off was also lengthy and very unorganized.

I arrived to pick up my rental only to be told that they did not have any rentals available. I asked what was the purpose of having a reservation and was told that they had run out of cars. I tried to contact carrentals.com but the number provided was for Hertz in the Dominican Republic and surprise no one was picking up. I was left with no other choice than to pay a ridiculous amount to an outside rental company and the car was no where near the condition that it should have been. I was extremely disappointed. I have always rented cars through carrentals.com and have never had an issue with them. Hertz was completely irresponsible in it's handling of reservations.
