At the desk of Budget Innsbruck Airport I found out I had lost my wallet. As a result I was unable to pick up the reserved and paid car (no driving license). The booking could not be used by one of my friends who had both driving licenses and credit cards, even though I was still able to identify myself with my passport. This is all within the conditions, so I understand. What I found annoying that I felt zero empathy to the situation. It seemed they were happy to offer another (or even the same car) to my friends, for over double what I paid already. So the original deal from them was good; they can at least show some empathy.

My experience with Budget Innsbruck is very bad. This was because there was no check when handing in and then it was told that everything was fine. Then there was suddenly "damage" to the car, despite the fact that we walked with four people privately to hand over the keys and could not find that "damage". Budget subsequently debited an amount of € 1466.03 from my credit card. The moment I ask for a copy of the contract they cannot find it. The moment you ask for photos, Budget does not respond at all. I will continue to go after it because I am sure that a mistake has been made on the Budget side.
