Vehicle was comfortable , roomy , powerful but economical
The only issues I had was when I went to extend my car hire I couldn’t complete this online for convenience and then got an off shore call centre who after 3 calls couldn’t help me but gave me a number for Sydney airport to which I left a message at Avis .
It was returned over 24 hours later and the change made over the phone .
I found this to be extremely poor customer service and I’ve had a more positive experience with another rental company recently who charge more but we’re hassle free

My experience was really poor. From the first moment I was pressured to upsize my car and insurance. Upon final payment, after we had returned home, there were loads of hidden fees like a premium location surcharge, a card fee and a 3.5% admin fee. We had a slight dent during our rental and were told that we would to be charged until we had a quote from them, this did not happen and we were charged without warning.

We were not advised where SPECIFICALLY to return the car and received an email with return location as: ”Shop A-bus light Rail Interchange The Star- Entry Via Pirrama Rd”. We circled the area many times and finally found the Avis office who said that the airport staff should have given us the exact location and a document detailing the process for return. So we had to drive out of there to the actual return location. not happy!
