I reserved an SUV on rentalcars.com, when I went to pick up the vehicle I was told that out of state travel was not permitted. I cancelled the reservation and was charged $48 per your cancellation policy. When I contested this as there was no mention of the travel restriction on the rental agreement or on rentalcars.com I was told by your customer service rep that I would have to take this matter up with rentalcars.com. This will be the last time I will ever rent a vehicle from Sixt, your customer service lacks any type of empathy and your agents do not seem to care if you loose customers.

Car price as charged. No hassle with agent at counter. Only 2 agents so some wait. Asked about how to handle viewed damage before leaving, told to simply drive through returns and explain to attendant. She was awesome and reassuring. Interior still had some garbage, otherwise clean enough to drive.

We had to stand in line (mostly outside) over an hour with our tired kids and all of our luggage, just to pickup. The reservation had already been fully paid. The place was filthy, even with trash on the floors that the people just walked over. At drop off, the second I drove up someone opened the door and demanded the keys. I hadn't even turned off the vehicle or collected my purse and water bottle yet. Then she stood in the door, right next to me as I grabbed my things. While we were unloading the luggage from the back, the attendant started the car. I had to ask her to not drive off so we could finish unloading. The car itself was nice and clean. I would never recommend Sixt and would have gladly paid more to a different company to not have to wait so long at pickup. It was by far our worst experience with a car rental.
