I'm a bit mad. The guy at the counter in Orlando where I rented was rude. He mis-informed me on a number of things. He told me that the tolls were cashless so unless I knew a different route I would need to purchase the SunPass at $60 per week. He then told me that if the unit was not on the windshield in the driver's side corner, it was automatic. After leaving the airport and SEEING cash lanes, I knew I was taken advantage of. And the unit was behind the rearview mirror, which I didn't see until the next day and after going through at least 3 tolls. After I declined buying a tank of gas from him, he mis-informed me again that I had to get gas within 5 miles of the airport and I had to leave the receipt in the car. When I returned the car in Ft. Myers, I asked the gal at the counter if she needed the receipt, she said she did not. Very disappointing service in Orlando and I'm out $120 plus.

George at the counter was sympathetic to my gout flare up. I could barely walk, so for the same price he changed my reservation to give me a car that was bigger and on the same side of Orlando’s airport to significantly shorten my walk. Easy pick up and they did not charge a fee for dropping the car off 15 hours early. They do not answer the phone at the airport. Calls get directed to the national call center after about a 3 min hold. Call center is worthless. They could not answer this question, “Is there a fee for dropping off a car early?” Instead they said I had to call the airport location directly. That Catch 22 kept me occupied for an hour, so I gave up. Dropped the car off early willing to accept a contract change fee. Delighted they did not charge me a fee. The Payless website says the cars are located on airport property, but the carrental.com contract says there is a shuttle. Carrentals.com confuses things by indicating how to get the shuttle when in fact there is none.
