I rented a van but did not get one. I was told there were no vans available so I was given a Kia SUV. I feel that when you rent on line you are not given first rate service.

Hertz pickup and drop off done at counter were good. New car was comfortable to drive but elect omicron were problematic. Alerts would appear and disappear for no apparent reason. Low battery key fob alert came on repeatedly 1st day. 4 calls to company resulted in being told to take fob to Pepboys myself and keep receipt. Was told if car stopped working on roadway it would be towed and I would get a different car. Not a comforting thought. 2nd day low battery in key fob disappeared. Then front obstruction alert went on and off for no reason for rest of week. Told agent when dropped SUV off and was given a credit toward a future rental.
