Due to the delay in my flight to Canada (landed after 11:30 pm), I was unable to pick up the vehicle until the day after the scheduled day. The vehicle that was originally intended for me had been assigned in the meantime and Hertz no longer had any vehicle corresponding to the desired category (high-end sedan) available that day. Possibility of upgrading (SUV) but with significant financial compensation (about 50% of the initial cost of my rental), which I refused. My criticism concerns these points: absence of vehicles in the reserved categories (which made me pay the price of a vehicle of a higher category than that of the vehicle obtained) and paid upgrade. The vehicle available to me was about my expectation (5 seats, large trunk, comfort ...) and perfectly suited to my needs. Staff attentive and helpful both at the reception, parking, delivery and return of the vehicle.

I like the car rentals but the custor service representative of thrifty make it worst for me , he did not explain how much he goona charge foe security deposit before swiping the card which is totally unacceptable, his name is Ray , asian guy in mid thirties but dont have a manner how to talk with the customer and bascically teling me that there is nothing related to carrentlas , he told me he is just fulfilling the contract of carrents and thrifhty , such a worst customer service i had, i would love to take the carrentlas i like but not the thrifty people espiaciallly in halifax airport
