This was an odd experience in Charlotte. Dollar rental sign sends you to Hertz which points left to where??Enterprise?? Waited on Enterprise line to find out we had to go outside in the garage. Employees(all 3) seemed like they wanted to be somewhere else. We had paperwork and they tried to up sell us twice - on different vehicles. We said we will stick with the Pathfinder - and they kept saying “or similar”. I said “don’t you have a Pathfinder”? She said, we may have one. What? May have one??? She then asked what we drive at home - why does that matter???Then tried to sell us insurance, but we purchased Allianz insurance when we made the booking. After 15 minutes we left in a Kia Sorrento, that is much smaller for luggage than the Pathfinder.

This was my second time renting in the past 2-3 months. There was an issue with the type of credit card I was using. Both times I rented the cars were not cleaned and they had horrible odors. There were fingerprints, dried liquid spills, human and animal hair on the floors, seats, and in the trunk. With covid19 going on I was disappointed about this. Maybe mgmt should take the time to put a stamp of approval on the cleanliness of the car. On this last rental the check engine light came on and the car acted as if it was slow to go into 1st gear. Although they were friendly, there is also no privacy is this office I was asked for my phone number out loud and a customer/stranger obtained my mobile number and called to ask me out on a date. I feel the rep should have looked at the reservation for my personal information and asked me to verify it on the screen.

I picked up my rental on 3/19 and was supposed to have it until 3/22. Due to COVID impact, my trip was cancelled and I returned the car on 3/20, the front desk agent at Dollar said CarRentals would refund the other 2 days within 5 business days and I haven't received it yet.
