I had rented a Ford Fiesta to go to Indiana because my mother was dying and I wanted to get there while she was still living. It was a great car.... until it had a flat an hour and half from home. I called the Enterprise Emergency Roadside Assistance and was told it would be 90 minutes before anyone got there. I was also given the address of the closest Enterprise to go to in order to trade vehicles. By the Grace of God, AAA got there 10 minutes later and changed the tire, putting the donut tire on. I drove the office at the location I was given, only to find out they didn't have another vehicle! Mind you, no one brought another vehicle. I had to drive (on a donut) to yet ANOTHER Enterprise location where I did obtain another vehicle. Why did someone NOT BRING A VEHICLE TO ME? 3 hours later, I was back on my trip to Indiana. My mother did pass a few days after I got there. Can something be done to amend the cost under these circumstances???? I had made it clear at each office that my mother was dying and I really NEEDED to get on the road to Indiana. Getting another vehicle was such an ordeal and I had to pick it up myself.... so sad and such poor service.
