we got a 3 door car and not a 5 door car like we orderd. made it kind of hard to put the baby seat in the back. not to mention the fact we had to wait for more than an hour till our car was ready to be picked up.

While the service was overall good, I had reserved the exact amount of money which is usually kept by the rental company for the rental period, and then released afterwards. On every Terms and Conditions page I opened before renting, this amount was ALWAYS marked as 500 euros. At the rental desk, however, we were informed that the amount required was 700 euros because it was a Dollar rental, not a Hertz, which meant that the only way we could proceed with the rental was to choose the Super Cover option rather than stick to the separate insurance cover (which we had already paid and which was rendered useless, as a result). In short, a car rental which was supposed to cost us 157 euros, plus taxes (+ 500 euros withheld, as normal) ended up costing us a grand total of 458 euros - exactly 300 euros more! And all because there was NOWHERE listed that a Dollar rental needs 700 euros rather than 500 euros to be available on the credit card. May I also point out that while we were trying to settle this issue at the desk, we were carrying three luggage bags, a car seat, and a toddler in a pushchair, who wasn't very happy to wait for a transaction which took 45 mins rather than the planned 15 mins.
