Both the pickup of the rental car and the removal of the rental car were super straightforward. Before, see if everything is okay and you can start. A brief introduction to the car would have been nice, but even so we have come very well.

My experience with the Zurich Alamo Airport was not the best. As I when to get the car I was told they do not accept debits cards as a form of payment, it would be nice to know this before you get to the counter, My Fiancée had to get the car herself the put me as an additional driver, the best part of all of this is the counter agent told us, you do not have to get a car from us, you can go to Avis they may take debit card . On the plus side, the car was great !.

The vehicle takeover took 5 1/2 hours and caused travel expenses. This because not the driver but a rider wanted to provide the (unexpected) additional deposit by credit card. The rental amount was paid in advance and also a deposit of 3'000.- CHF to the online platform. Therefore, the driver did not wear his personal credit card. Cash or bank guarantee or was not accepted as security (even temporarily for 2 hours) by Alamo. Therefore, the driver had to travel without a vehicle on the return journey (domicile Switzerland) to get his own credit card on foot, by bus and and by train. He also had to carry a large, empty and visible piece of luggage, as the landfill was not accepted. If the renter had been allowed to hand over his own credit card with the rental vehicle (with temporary other security), the whole process would have been possible within 1 1/2 hours. Unfortunate for Alamo may be the fact that the rider, whose credit card was rejected in principle, bears responsibility in the management of a large company.
