Very good experience - Only the vote on insurance should be more clearly regulated between the companies.

My flight from the US to Zurich was delayed so i phoned Hertz directly in order to inform them of the delay so my reservation would not be cancelled. The customer service rep noted the change and said she would send a message to the Hertz location where i was to pick up the car noting the change. The CSR stated on the phone that my original rate should be honored. Upon arrival the following day to pick up the car i was informed my original reservations was cancelled and the price quoted would not be honored, requiring a new reservation. the price of my rental car for the rental period increased just over $1000 for a 3 week rental. Other than the price change, my rental experience was very smooth and i was satisfied with the vehicle received and the facilities.
