Very easy pickup, however, because my mom was in a wheelchair, the next counter (National) helped me with our reservation. He saw we each had a medium size suitcase plus the wheelchair and recommended we 'upgrade' to an intermediate vehicle. I told him the car that was on the picture was a 4 door and adequate. He then said that they don't have those in the fleet anymore and said we would be getting what looked like a 'smart' car... (pregnant roller skate?). I told him I paid for a 4 door car and that's what I wanted at the same price (the money was very tight). He said 'fine' and sent us outside to pick up the car (which turned out to be a Nissan Versa... BEAUTIFUL!).

My experience was fantastic. The people who helped me were amazing! And the prices were unbeatable. I will definitely rent through Alamo again.

I made a reservation on 10/11 for the next day in Indianapolis (IND) for a car from Thrifty. Printed out the confirmation. When I got to the car rental agent ( stood in line for an hour) she said I did not have a reservation. Called carRental.com number and was told that it had not gone through. They booked me with another car through Alamo only to get to the counter and told they didn’t have cars. Now I am stranded! IMG_1712.PNG This is what I printed out after I put in my credit card.... everything looked good however no confirmation number... I am guessing it was a glitch with the website, but I will never use your site again or recommend it to anyone else. I work for a major airline travel a lot. The whole experience was disappointing
