Price at pickup ended up being 3 times the price I booked it for online. Had to reduce rental from 19 days to 2 and the 2 days still cost more than the initial online booked price for the initial 19 days, rediculous.

We signed up through this site like we have before for the same country and the same company. When arriving in Germany, they had rented my vehicle to someone else because we were just a little late. Next, they refused to rent another vehicle to me unless I purchased their insurance since I wasn’t using a Gold or Platinum credit card from 3 specific companies (one of which I had when I turned 18 and is a joke account to business professionals now). Finally, after waiting an hour for them to bring the new car to me we were on our way. The return address when we were finished was not an actual drop off business anymore and the only way I learned this was showing up and seeing a 2’x2’ sign that had Hertz crossed off in red! I had to go to a different location and walk 3 miles back to my hotel since this new spot was nowhere near the train system (which was a high factor for me picking this dealer). I will never rent from Hertz/Dollar/Thrifty in Germany again.

My rental price nearly doubled because I was forced to buy the ridiculously overpriced liability and collision damage waiver even though my credit card would’ve covered it all. This was not prominently disclosed at time of rental. As soon as I clicked no to the insurance option it should’ve given me all the details. As such I was stuck at the airport forced to pay over $30 and Daily insurance fees. Very unhappy.
