Good support by frau achieving. The other agents needed further customer care as when I called them during an emergency the man working stated “how can she drive if she hurt her knee “ and the woman Birgit whom I spoke to over the phone never followed up with the email she promised to send. Also as hertz works with dollar they requested a written proof of my credit card cdw coverage and put another 1000 euro on my bill.i immediately called the USA and spent close to 30 getting them the required paperwork. Also to note I had a one way drop off in Frankfurt which I followed exactly and told frau.schoening that I was visiting g family in France as I always do. Hertz did not tell me that I could not go to France and charged me 60 more for cross border (and there contract includes France on it?). Thus overall I will never rent from dollar in Europe again, nor with hertz as a gold member,this was the worst I experienced and unnecessary stress while on vacation. The staff in Berlin especially birgit and the man wh I overheard on the phone need to attend customer orientation classes to not insult their customers nor to charge extra for the car without prior agreement nor knowledge. I have never heard that I can not take a car with unlimited miles to a bordering country such as France . Positive note, when I upgraded the car in Frankfurt due to desire to drive an automatic and paid the difference of 210 euros, I was able to receive a descent car and noted that it had damages from the previous driver. Mr sing(?) the Frankfurt agent signed the firm with the dent on it and upon returning the car at Frankfurt airport, I was again bullied by the check in agent saying that I have to pay for the dent. I showed him the report which obviously I kept. He walked away unhappily that he could not get extra charges from me. This behavior is appalling and I am not sure what’s going on as I rent between 60 to 90 days a year and have never witnessed this over 20 years.i believe that car rentals .com needs to take a stand and take these concerns to heart as customers will be lost and never returned to any of the parties mentioned above.

First of all it took me 40 mins to pick up the car and also they made me pay additional insurance fee, despite the fact that I had the full protection! The guy just looked at my eyes and said if you don't pay this, you will not get the car! I was amazed by the service. Besides this, you pick up the car from a place where 3 rentals are located and there is only one person working for everyone!
