In a nutshell, from service desk at pick-up to condition of vehicle to car return everything was excellent. Special cudos and thanks to the night manager who helped to explain my invoice and make certain that I understood extra charges along with a better reduction to extra fees than I expected. Thank you for a great experience....I will be sure to use Thrifty again and again!

I had a reservation with enterprise for a small pick up. Agent agree to gave me a full size huge f150; but, could not upgrade for free for a small SUV. I don't understand why not. ???

We rented a Mitsubishi Outlander SUV at Ohare in Chicago for three days. The guy at the counter asked if we wanted the basic or the full coverage. Since we had coverage through my credit card, I said just the basic. When he gave me the contract to sign, it was $100 more than I was quoted when I booked the rental. When I asked to see the breakdown, he had added in $33/day insurance, which he said was the basic coverage. I had him remove that charge, realizing I had been set up by his question. Next, it began snowing shortly after I rented the car. To my surprise, the SUV had trouble holding the road - the tires were not good in the snow, so I had to be extra careful. Finally, when I returned the car, there was no one available to check me in and give me a final invoice, so when I went to the desk and asked, and they said not to worry, I did worry for a couple days until I saw the correct charge on my credit card statement.
