The cab I took dropped me off early like one hour early. Did not expect that, then I could not get in the building (because TOO early) and it was HOT out and I'm elderly. I had a paid for pick-up rental which I paid in advance online. And I could not go in, NOT 1 minute earlier than 10:00am opening time to walk in to a cool building and I was denied and felt like I wasn't good enough to go inside until 10:00am not before.

When I arrived there was only one person working the counter and there were about four people either picking up or dropping off a car. My reservation was for 2:30 pm, but I actually didn't end up getting the vehicle until around 2:45. The exterior of the car wasn't cleaned, but it was sitting outside so that's understandable; my problem came when it was time to return the car. I was stuck at work and was running late, so when I called to let the representative at Budget know, he told me that if I was more than 30 minutes late, which he stated 3:00 pm. I would be charged for another day. Considering I didn't actually get the car until around 2:45, 30 minutes late should actually have been 3:15: but that's besides the point. I've rented a lot of cars, and if I was running late which is rare, I've never had a problem of being accommodated and was told that I would have to pay an extra charge, so I was really dissatisfied with that. I got there at three O'clock, but when the representative at Budget was closing out my rental, it had the extra day charge. The representative took it off after discussing the charge, but it's the point. Overall, my experience with Budget wasn't bad, and I've never had a problem when renting, But it's true one bad experience could ruin your overall opinion, and I guess that's why I gave it such low scores.
