This was my first time back since the new pick-up area has been available - the team at the desk was very cordial - they gave great directions on where to find my car on level 2 - I look forward to using Dollar again.

I got to the airport about 5 hours earlier than my reservation and was told there were no cars at the rate I was promised. I was not offered any other option other than accepting a larger vehicle at an additional $13 per day plus fees. I needed a car so I had to pay a much higher rate than expected.

Upon return, my charge was $180.64 while my carrentals.com quote was $139.32. The base price of $103.96 was the same, but the difference of $41.32 was in the estimated taxes and fees. The counter staff at Dollar was unable to resolve this issue, and only told me that renting through a third party company was the reason for the difference. I had to call the manager of that facility upon my return home the following day to have a credit applied to the charge. Although they still did not honor the quoted price, I was promised a refund of most of the difference within the next 5 business days.
