Manager and assistant stayed after closing time to provide me a vehicle. They were both courteous, efficient and life savers. It was the beginning of a vacation for my wife, my granddaughter and myself. Had they not gone out of their way to help us, our vacation would have gotten off to a bad start.

Made my reservation with Avis in a local office not the airport office and it was a cliché scene out of Seinfeld. I made the reservation days before, i got the confirmation email, i took a 40 minute Uber to the location in Newport Beach, CA. And they guy at the counter says “i don’t have a car for you.” And when i show him my confirmation email he tells me to get out. I call the 1800 number of Avis customer service and they apologize and offer to make me a reservation at the nearest location in Burbank. Now i don’t know if you guys are familiar with Southern California but that’s like 2 hours away. Just the worst case scenario.
