I have booked a car to be picked up at Changi Airport, Singapore. The counters have been reduced from 3 terminals to only 1 terminal, in terminal 2. There was no signs on display. Base on my previous experience with other car rental companies, I was able to pick up the car at terminal 2. But for those first timers, it would be really difficult for them. To return the car I had wasted at least half hour waiting because there was no one at the counter. A few of us were waiting. We tried calling the car rental company, but the phone was the counter phone. I waited for about half hour and finally someone showed up. He apologised and said there was a shortage of staffs because the company is trying to cut cost. It was a one man show, he had to move the car to the pick-up point for the next customer, and sent the car just returned to wash, and back to the counter to collect the return cars. Hertz is not a small car rental company. They should find a solution to improve the service.

Everything has been standby before I arrive for pickup...fast and easy!

The service was good.
However, the price online and the actual price didn’t match at all. Online price showed 78 dollars and the actual price was 100 and it came with an additional 65 dollars insurance...
