I will AVOID Thrifty in the future. PIckup at MGM (Montgomery Airport, Alabama): Thrifty counter closed - directed to go to Hertz. Agent was friendly and helpful. 35 mpg was great. Dropoff at DAY (Dayton International Airport, Ohio) was POOR on Sunday morning. Took almost 30 minutes with no agent and no line. Had to leave car in a line and put keys and rental agreement in unguarded box. RESULT: NO Honesty in charging, integrity, communications = ALL lacking! NO receipt every provided. OVERCHARGED. I was charged $137.37, not the $117.39 quoted, with NO explanation and NO communications. Bait and Switch. I dropped the car off at Dayton International Airport as directed on Sunday morning before 9:00 am. (less than 24 hours from pickup) No agent was there so paperwork was deposited in box as directed by signs. I filed later that morning a left item report on line as directed by Thrify on a CD left in the car - nothing done and nothing said. NO communications. I have photos that there was no damage to the car. I feel cheated. I feel like a theft has occurred in the taking of additional money without explanation. POOR business practice. BAD Experience. DISHONEST business practice.

I was given the car without a lot of paperwork and hassle.

We had to wait for a while to pick up the car but I we rented was a great car had no complaints.
