I thought I had booked this rental car at the Charlotte airport and when my sister went to pick the car up they told her it was 30 minutes away and that they could not provide her with a car. I was at the Concord airport and I was waiting for her to pick me up. Since I made the reservation I called and was told that no she could not get it at the airport. I then called the reservation line and asked them to make the correction and they finally did. The first person that was helping me was wonderful but just as we were getting reservation resolved, the phone disconnected and he never called me back. I then called again and had to go through the whole process all over again. I we were then charged about $40 more than what I had originally paid but at that point I was willing to donate a kidney. It turned out not to be the reasonable car rental experience that I thought I was getting. I am great-full to the person on the phone that fixed it but I think that we should have been allowed to get the rental car at the airport from the start instead of going through about 90 minutes of craziness to get a car.
