Instruction for pickup was confusing (contact number in the email was wrong)...so, I boarded the airport shuttle to the car rental building hoping to find them. There was no Rent-A-Wreck counter so I googled for a contact. I called and a lady told me to wait outside...I waited 45 minutes for her to come to pick me up to another location to pick up the car!!! Long story short, price is OK, car is OK but the hassle is too much. If we know we are renting a car from this kind of car rental company, we would rather pay more.

After picking up car the next day msg came up on dash battery low on remote, rent a wreck asked it I wanted to exchange car I was 23 miles away this was not an option- told me I could go get it changed at Firestone or I could change myself & they would refund cost of battery. Another msg came up next day front driver turn signal not working. whatever product they use to clean inside left white film like salt being spread in car. Also passenger seat would not adjust & was in recline position while I had car. Not very comfortable for my 83 y/o mother when I had to take her shopping & meetings!! If u need rental car better double check everything on car before you rent it & leave the lot!!!!!!

This is the 3rd time I have rented from them every time it's a problem of some sort The last time they rented me a car with a busted trunk lock I called them and said I'm having problems with the lock on the trunk they didn't have a replacement to give me so I kept the car by the time I returned it the lock was totally busted and I had to tie it down with a rope to get it back to them they assured me that I would not be charged for it as I had told them about it however they later charged me for it . This time They left me at the airport for an hour because they couldn't tell me where the pick up was and the guy they had picking me up they told him the wrong place it was crazy and it was super cold then when I got there I was suppose to have an intermediate car and I ended up with an economy car that they tried to convince me was their new intermediate and it was dirty also , I had put in for a late return as my flight was at 7pm and I wanted to return at 5 which I put in on the website and I picked up at 1:30 so they tell me the computer took it out and in order to return at 5 it would cost me an extra 60.00 plus tax and there was nothing they could do for me . So I'm done It's true you get what you pay for and they are true too there name Rent A Wreck
