Pickup was quick and efficient - only one signature and no upselling. Pickup at the lot was quick too. It was a nice new car. Return was also quick. No complaints at all!

Customer service was off from the start. Once I questioned the vehicle I was receiving, the service plummeted even further. I had requested a Toyota 4Runner or equivalent. Sixt agent, Aja, tells me vehicle is a Kia Sorento. I simply asked if the Kia was really an equivalent vehicle and the negative attitude began. I inquired about upgrading my vehicle rental, and was told about upgrade to Mercedes. From a Kia to a Mercedes, that’s a big jump. I kept my cool, paid for Kia, and went downstairs to hop in. The Kia is a base model and nothing close to equivalent of a 4Runner. This is like saying a Toyota Yaris is the equivalent to a Honda Accord. Being in the Phoenix Airport car rental terminal, and how it is a serious walk back to Sixt Rental, I drive away and call customer service. After 5 minutes of pressing numbers directing me to agent, it rings to no end. I call back, and after the same lengthy process to get an agent on phone, I finally do. Just my luck, same negative attitude agent, Aja. I try joking with her saying hey! It’s me and I just left..what can I do to get a better vehicle. She again informs me about paying more for a Mercedes, and now offers a Range Rover rental. Kia Sorento to Range Rover?! I again ask about anything in between, and she becomes even more short. I realize this company is a fail, even though my coworker swears by this company. (and we have to use Denalis or Escalades for work on a regular basis) I will NEVER use sixt again, and would rather ride a bike then rent one of their vehicles.
