The contract stipulated FULL-FULL but the tank was about 3/4 and they told me to make it "about the same" what I did after calculating the consumption with the on-board computer. The agent of Hertz (because my hiring via Autoescape at Dollar ended up at Hertz) did not want to make the state of the car back with me and now that I am at 1000 km they decide unilaterally that lack of gas and they are used on my credit card !!! Scandal !!!!! A shame !!! I am now waiting for them to pay me back after sending the scan of the receipt of the service station after 30 minutes on the phone with them in addition to premium rate call !!!! All this because it suits them not to refuel because the service station next to the Gare de Lyon is saturated with people (dixit an employee when I handed the car)! It's NULL and the behavior with the client is HONTEUX !!!! Never again will I rent from them !!!!!

It took me more than 3 hours to pick up my car from the Hertz agency (Dollar is a subsidiary) of the Gare de Lyon in Paris. Obviously the agency had rented many more vehicles than it had in its fleet. We were more than 20 customers not able to recover the vehicle we had rented. The agency staff was completely overwhelmed by the situation and lost their calm with customers. After long discussions, I finally got a vehicle but given the situation, no inventory was made. The tank was only half full, the side window was cracked the full length and the mileage indicated in the inventory was wrong. Given the delay caused by my personal constraints, I have not done a detailed inventory. During the return of the vehicle, the agency tried to charge me a part of the damage and expenses of exceeding my mileage. After challenge, the damage was not charged me, however I was still charged 60 EUR per kilometer compensation while the initial inventory was false 150 km.
