Great experience. My first time renting a car and it was a breeze. Avis was very accommodating when I needed to switch out the car. I opened the trunk and the smell that came out was nauseating! They quickly switched me out with no problems! I will rent again.

Avis staff very good. Vehicle needed cleaning, smelled of cigarette smoke, oil change warning on, loud sound when applying brakes in reverse

I was scheduled to pick up a car at 9 am. I received a phone call at 8:30 am that there was not yet a car for me. I called back around 10:30 and then 2:30 to see if they had the car yet. It wasn't until 4:30 that I received a call that my car was ready. This changed all of my traveling plans and was extremely inconvenient. The store rep was truly one of the rudest people I have ever met. Not once did he apologize for the delays or inconvenience but instead acted annoyed that I had called twice to follow-up. I asked for a discount given the circumstances and the employee told me I didn't need to be such an a**.... I couldn't believe that someone in customer service would say such a thing. Absolutely ridiculous.
